In 2006, we made history with the inaugural Capital City Countdown, which featured the first ever fireworks display in downtown Tallahassee. This year’s event promises to be even more spectacular and we want you to be a part of it.

Once again, the event will feature the typical New Year’s Eve activities; dancing, live band, children’s activities and entertainment, and a special and unique “Countdown to 2009”. All activities held on Kleman Plaza will be free and open to the public while a special VIP reception will be hosted simultaneously inside the Challenger Learning Center, the beneficiary of funds raised from VIP ticket sales and sponsorships.
